Born and raised in Miami, Florida Coach CJ grew up playing football and continuing to play it to the semi-professional level as an adult. Once he met his wonderful wife Nadia and moved to Sweden he began his coaching career where for the last 5 years he has been passing his knowledge on to the U11, U15 and U17 SMM teams. Let’s get to know Coach CJ a little better.
How do you feel about being the head coach of the U15 team?
– U15 is the beginning of who you want to be as a football player. The chance to shape a future player, to get them excited about the sport that I love to play and help others to play. It will be a joy to be a part of the team.
What is your coaching vision?
– My vision is to inspire the players to achieve what they think is impossible to do. Develop young men and women to love the game of football. Also aid in the development of the sport in Sweden and other European countries.
What is your future dream for the U15 team?
– To Dream the Impossible Dream. Have more of the SMM U15 players audition for RIG, be invited to ULU and the Swedish National Team. Getting more exposure which will open up more opportunities for players to play on the next level and have fun while doing so.
