Welcome to Stockholm Mean Machines Tyler! What made you decide to play for the Mean Machines this season?
- For multiple reasons. The main reason is because Mean Machines is a top professional organization that treats their athletes well. They are an organization that cares a lot about American football and their championship last year shows that. Another reason is because I am very excited to team up with my former teammate Ben van Jagow, we played together for the Hildesheim Invaders. Also the Sweden season allows me to also continue coaching during my offseason at Western Connecticut in the States.

What is your previous football playing experience?
- I have played since I was 6 years old and played college football at a D3 school named Alfred university where I was a 4 year starter. The first two games of my freshman year I was a backup, in the 3rd game our team was down 28-0 at halftime. We made a QB switch for me to play. I sparked our comeback with a 74 yard rushing TD and helped lead the team to a 34-28 overtime win. After that I started every game and I was awarded the Rookie of the year. I went on to break 10 school records over my career. My senior year I lead my team to a 10-0 regular season record, winning the conference title and earning the conference MVP.
- After college I played arena football for multiple teams for 2 years before I went on to play in Germany for the Hildesheim Invaders in the GFL1. I was signed halfway through the season when the team’s record was 0-6. With me and other new Americans signed we went on to finish 4-10 and not having to face a possible demotion. After that I played in Italy for the Lazio Ducks leading the league in passing for the first 6 weeks and finishing 4th in rushing. We made it to the final 4 in playoffs losing to the league champions Milano Seamen.

How would you describe your playing style?
- As a player I am considered a dual threat., I can pass and run. I like to be a smart football player with film study and knowing what the defense is doing before plays to make the best reads for our team. I have played in multiple different offenses to be versatile on the field. My biggest adds to the team will be my leadership. I take pride on being a motivator and leading the team to success.

What do you know about Stockholm Mean Machines?
- I know that they are a top organization of all of Europe and having improved significantly and winning last year’s Sweden Superseries championship. And I have heard Stockholm is an amazing city and I'm excited to see for my first time.

Your thoughts about this upcoming season?
- After talking with Mr. Pilback and coach Armstrong I feel confident we will have a great season with a goal to repeat last year and take on the European championships. For my own expectations I want to be the top QB in the league, but our team’s success is what's most important.
