Welcome to Stockholm Chris! What made you decide to play for the Mean Machines this season?
– I chose to play for the Mean Machines because it is a great football program with a great coaching staff and I believe we can bring the championship back to where it belongs! On top of that, I was made to feel very welcome during the process of choosing a team when one of the players on Stockholm reached out to me and made himself available for any questions I had. For me, the little things like that go a long way and it shows me what type of mentality the players have about their teammates.

What do you know about the program?
– I know the program has a long history of success and has high expectations to win every year as shown by their 11 national championships. That is exactly the type of program I want to be a part of because I believe I can help make this years' expectations a reality. I also know the program has been built with a great group of players and when they bring in import players, they hope that we can help develop their youth for the future success of the program as well. As someone who loves to coach and share my knowledge of the game, the Mean Machines give me the perfect balance of everything I am looking for.

What are your biggest assets as a player?
– I would say my biggest asset as a player is my competitiveness. You will not find a player who wants to win as much as I do, and I will leave it all out on the field every time in order to achieve that goal.

How are you as a teammate?
– I am very detail oriented and I can be hard on guys because of that, but it is only because I hope to bring the best out of them. At the end of the day, the guys I step on the field with are my brothers and I intend to be the best teammate I can be every time I put on the Mean Machine’s jersey.

What do you look forward to the most?
– I am really looking forward to getting on the field with my new teammates. Every time you step on the field with a new team you have a new opportunity to do something special with them. I also intend to immerse myself in the Swedish culture as much as possible because I have heard nothing but great things from everyone I talk to.

What do you know about the city of Stockholm?
– I know that Stockholm is beautiful and full of history which means I will have lots to do and see when I am not on the field! I am looking forward to learning by visiting old town, the Royal Palace, and a few of the museums while also taking in all the beautiful scenery Stockholm has to offer.

We have heard you help develop young players back in Canada. How come?
– I think it is very important to help prepare the next generation of players so that they are better off than I was at that age. When I was younger there weren’t very many great coaches that took the time to really break down the quarterback position and help us develop. I had to travel all over looking for good coaching and even then it was difficult to find. Now-a-days these coaches are all over the United States, however, Canada has fallen behind a little bit. I hope that I can help balance the scales a little bit by sharing as much as I can with Canadian players (specifically quarterbacks) to give them more opportunities than I had growing up.
